Nikon D7000

I bought this one via Amazon.de to replace the D90 as I thought it was broken and I needed a camera urgently. I bought just the body and use the lenses I have (The 18-200 Nikkor mostly).

This camera is meant for having a camera acceptable for any photo opportunity, like family parties, fairs, vacations, etc.

Sadly enough it is too large to lug around every day. But a pocket DSLR is a bit too much wishful thinking.

Uses its own rechargable battery.
Uses SD cards.
16 Megapixels in JPEG or RAW format.
Uses the 'ptp2' driver in gphoto. Supports download, deletion and capture images and previews over USB.
Has normal composite video and HDMI output.
Nearly fully remote controllable capture mode.
